Terms of Service

Last updated: July 29, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Still app, website, and related services. By creating an account or using Still, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Still.

1. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and telling us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may use Still only where doing so is lawful.

The sleep-window program is intended for adults. If the safety screener shows that you are under 18, Still will not provide a sleep window. Other safety answers may also prevent the app from providing one and direct you toward a clinician instead.

2. What Still is

Still is a self-guided program based on cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia techniques. It includes a morning diary, lessons, tools, a sleep window, and an AI guide. The program uses your entries to calculate and adjust a sleep window. No clinician monitors your diary or messages.

Still is not a medical device, therapist, emergency service, diagnosis, or substitute for care from a qualified clinician. It does not prescribe medication or advise you to change medication. If you may have another sleep condition or a health concern, seek medical advice before using a sleep-window program.

3. Sleep-window safety

A sleep window changes how much time you spend in bed. The first part of the program can temporarily increase tiredness or sleepiness. Do not drive, operate dangerous equipment, or do other safety-sensitive work when sleepy. Pause the program and contact a clinician if you feel unsafe, your symptoms become concerning, or the app tells you that the program is not an appropriate first step.

The safety screener covers only a limited set of risks and is not a medical assessment. In an emergency, contact local emergency services. Crisis information inside the app is currently written for people in the United States.

4. The AI guide

The guide is generated by a language model. It may use your recent guide messages and summaries of your diary and program state to answer. It can be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on it for diagnosis, medication decisions, emergencies, or other professional advice. Certain safety-sensitive messages receive a fixed response instead of a generated answer. Our Privacy Policy explains the data sent to AI providers.

5. Purchases and refunds

Still offers a one-time program unlock. The US reference price is $79; the price and currency shown by your app store at purchase are the price that applies to you. The unlock is not a subscription and does not renew.

Apple or Google processes the payment, keeps the store purchase record, and applies its own purchase and refund terms. We do not receive your full card details. Deleting your Still account does not cancel, refund, or erase the purchase record held by your app store. A valid store purchase may be restorable on a supported device.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the diary entries, messages, tool records, and other content you add. You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, transmit, and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support Still, as described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, subject to legal obligations, backups, and third-party retention described in that policy.

7. Our app and content

The app, website, curriculum, design, software, and branding belong to Still or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or distribute it except where the law allows.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for an unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
  • Attempt to access another person’s account or data.
  • Interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass the service’s security.
  • Upload malicious code or use automated systems to scrape or misuse the service.
  • Reverse-engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Resell the service or misrepresent your relationship with Still.

9. Third-party services

Still relies on third parties for app-store distribution, authentication, cloud storage, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, and website hosting. Their services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that you choose to use, including an app or person you select when sharing an exported file.

10. Account deletion

You can delete your account through Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your account and synced product data from active Still systems and clears local app data. It does not erase app-store purchase records or necessarily retract information already processed by another provider. See the Privacy Policy for details.

11. Availability and changes

We may change, fix, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that every device will remain supported. We will provide reasonable notice when a material change affects your rights or paid access where the law requires it.

12. No promised outcome

Sleep and health outcomes differ. Still does not guarantee that you will fall asleep faster, spend less time awake, complete the program, or experience any particular result. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties to the fullest extent the law allows. Rights that cannot legally be excluded still apply.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Still and the people who operate it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenue, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the service. This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, law, or our practices. If a change is material, we will provide notice through the app, by email, or by another reasonable method before it takes effect when required. The date above shows the latest revision. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the service.

15. Contact
